Joseph
J. Perreca founded Perreca Electric Co., Inc. in 1949 after completing his
service in World War II as a radio technician in the Merchant Marine. At that
time Newburgh, N.Y. had a thriving needle trade industry, and Joe started out
fixing sewing machinery and performing electrical work out of the back of his
car. Over the
years, Joe became very successful, and used to do a million dollars per year
in sales - back when a million dollars in electrical work was a lot of money! In 1983
Charles C. Tallardy, III purchased the company and immediately brought in a
top management team and started to expand the company. Today,
Perreca Electric Co., Inc. has grown to a
million per year full service electrical and technology contractor. We
are a quality and safety oriented contractor, employing highly trained
workers as necessary to insure smooth completion of any project. This has
enabled us to provide prompt, professional service to commercial, industrial,
and institutional clients since 1949. Our
Company attitude, unusual in the construction business, places short-term
profit in a position secondary to long-term growth. Perreca Electric
Company's financial strength allows our company to produce consistently high
quality workmanship, because we do not have the "do or die"
attitude associated with job profit. We have never sacrificed job quality for
the "fast buck" so often associated with the contracting business,
and never will. Perreca
Electric Co., Inc. consistently strives to be the premier professional
electrical and technical contractor in the Hudson Valley region of New York
State. We are dedicated to provide our clients with "market driven
quality" which should result in satisfied clients and continuing
relationships. Through
a partnership of our trained, dedicated, modern workforce and our skilled
supervisors and managers, we use the most modern technology to provide our
clients with the highest quality product delivered on time and in a safe
working environment Carl Tallardy, III President Carl has 25 years experience in the
electrical contracting business and has been the president and owner of
Perreca since 1983. By expanding the firm's scope to include electrical
control, instrumentation, fiber optic and telecommunications, and developing
an industry-leading safety and quality training program to include mobile
training facilities and a dedicated full-time safety staff, it is now one of
New York's largest electrical firms with average yearly sales of million. Charles C. Tallardy, III has been a
Trustee for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers since 1984
and sits on the Board of Directors for the Hudson Valley Chapter of NECA. He
isalso a member of the Board of the Construction Contractors Association. "It is our intent to provide
our customers with market driven quality in a safe working environment,"
says Carl about his company's reputation for putting safety ahead of all
else. "We do everything we can to maintain a healthy work environment." |
